checks in the mail

I get monthly checks for the cemetery. Interest on CD's. Today, not for the first time, I noticed one bank, my primary bank, seals it's envelopes with tape. And upon opening them, I see that they only seal them with tape, they do not lick or otherwise moisten the seal. Which means that someone at my bank is, by hand, putting tape on every single CD
