The simple things in life.
One of the best gifts I've gotten this year, or rather last year, was a hunk of metal. Four bars shaped as hooks that make up a four station bird feeder. The endless entertainment of watching a wide variety of birds come and go to the various feeders is just wonderful. Everything from crows to tiny finches. And even the squirrels have not spoiled the fun, as they seem only interested in one feeder, the block in the cage. I can live with that.
On the subject of feeders, I was at Lowes the other day and was going to buy some suet but aside from the fact that the blocks were all mushy, the ones still in block form were about half the size of a normal block, maybe an inch thin. Same price of course. I think I'll look elsewhere for my blocks of fat.
Back to school schedule tomorrow. I think that means bed time for Bonzo.
