Today we did get to go see Jesus Christ Superstar at the Opera House in Boston. Ted Neeley who was Jesus in the original movie version of the play revised his role as Jesus, even though he must be 60 years old by now. He faultered a bit at first, but he could still belt out the tunes. I swear we had Ted Neeley groupies sitting behind us. They were giving him standing ovations every time he was on stage practially. I was not that impressed with Judas, who was played by Corey Glover, although he did get better in the second half. I thought the show stealer was King Herod, who was in a bathrobe and crocks.
I'm planning on going to work tomorrow to get some stuff done that just isn't getting done, with one week to go before the Memorial day weekend. No idea what is going to be happening this week. We have a cremation already for Thursday. I just don't need a full funeral. I just don't.
