Well, she won't post it ,but Grafix1da had a lightning incident this morning. A tree two houses up got blasted (she sent me the pictures). I was writing a reply to Sushi this morning when I saw what I thought were my neighbor's headlights. Then a few seconds later I heard a 'boom'. So I did my usual 'lightning drill' and turned off the computer and unplugged all the major electric devices. I know some people take that attitude that its "grandmotherly" to unplug stuff, but I know that electricity can travel and I have lost a TV from it in the past. I don't think it's worth loosing my computer and so on. I'll take the few moments to unplug stuff.
We got tons of rain. I can say that the local pond that I have been watching seems to be back up to full. I don't know about all the ponds, but we should be OK for next summer if this keeps up. Things were looking pretty bad for a while there.
I saw three red tail hawks yesterday, and twice I have seen a hawk or more likely a falcon fly by in my neighborhood. Its very fast and flies strait. I can't get a good look at it. Also we spotted a turkey vulture the other day.
I couldn't seem to find much out about the Ron Paul thing. Seems like he simply didn't oversea who was using his name. I don't know why that would be though. I still need to read up on Obama.
