Is it a full moon or something?

I finally found out today why I have been short a paper all week. Seems that the previous paper girl (you get a free paper when you deliver) is listed as having stopped her paper back in March. Because I have consistently been given too many papers, I never noticed this. Oh, and they never told me that she was cancelled, that would have been important. Oh, and the fact that she never did cancel.  So now I have to tell her that she has to call the paper and resubscribe. Not to mention that they wont let her be carrier collect anymore, she has to pay them directly. Because they don't do carrier collect anymore. Well, they don't unless you have a subscription and just stop paying, then they automatically switch you to carrier collect, even if you don't want the frigging paper. I am SO Bullshit with this company. They could not try any harder to loose customers. I have lost one of my Souths, and I know another one is going. Now I will loose this one probably. MORONS!

The lady bugs have made the news apparently. They were swarming at the cemetery on the front of the building, and they were on a few houses here in my neighborhood. They are the Asian variety according to the news (I have no idea how you tell the difference) but the are harmless. Well, they do bite and give a rash if I recall one site. Or was the rash from the gypsy moth caterpillars? Now I forget.

Himself was a disaster at gymnastics. I am so close to just not going back. He either doesn't try, or 'over try's and gets all bent out of shape for failing over and over.  He did better when he was an 8 year old than he does now. Shouldn't he be more mature and calmer?

The compact florescent light that I put in last year is done. Flickering. I know it is a year old because I marked it, I have had such bad luck with these 'long lasting' lights. The package actually guarantees them for 7 years, at 3 hours use a day. Well, these get more than 3 hours, but I doubt they get seven hours a day. Hmmm, maybe they do. Anyway, I'm not thrilled with their life expectancy, although I wont switch back. The other bulbs don't last long either.

I had my art class last night and we started a new painting. I am liking this one much better, and he is going step by step with all of us (except we left early as my aunt doesn't stay up late *9:00) I think I will catch up fine next class. It's a beach scene with two Adirondack chairs. I like it.

Well, I have to go rant in my Moose blog. Tomorrow is supposed to be a record breaker for heat. 80's. Gee, that's just swell. Anyone keeping track of how many heat records have been broken this year?
