Locrine mentioned it while we were exchanging information about demons we encountered. I figured you'd be the person to ask, having the most contact with it.
I'm glad things went well, and I'm impressed [eraser marks underneath the last word. so grudging.] that you managed to patch it up on your own. Now, mind sharing those notes of yours?
I'm not sure where you're getting these accusations from, Theodore. This is the first time any of us have interacted with one on any sort of meaningful level, so it's kind of important. I'm actually kind of disappointed that you didn't share your observations earlier. Communicating through letters alone kind of limits us, but both our time periods are supposed to be working together on this. If our side can learn about their behavior a little more and get another demon on our side, it'll be a lot easier to move forward. Not to mention, get more than just vague answers out of them.
I'm still curious as to your reasons for changing your mind about demons, too.
I see. I'll put together a copy for you sometime, if that's what you want. The agreement made with the Packard is complicated, and not one that would have been made if there had been any better options. It's been kept as quiet as possible.
Forgive me, but considering how willing to trust them you were to begin with, I'm honestly a little surprised. It's not nearly as impossible as you seem to make it out to be, but it helps if you have anything worth their interest in return. Start small, I suppose.
My opinions haven't changed - but I'm not going to sit in fear over a class of demons that we can easily take care of, either.
