well yes its true i am alive but still with no personal internet access. actually its kinda been refreshing. right now im in one of neil's stores onlining while he works for a short two hours. this is when i get the net. tis all. but anyway i guess ill get down to business...or something.
i have been very busy as usual amnd just when i thoguht i wouldnt be busy it just kept coming. i think its my destiny. i rather like it. always soemthing else to set my mind to.
this summer i worked at cedar run wildlife refuge in the pine barrens of new jersey (where tom brown dwells). its a unique forest of sandy pineyness. i ran all the day camps as well as designed them, all alone which was abit dif. from wihakowi where youre workign with a group of people. so it was mad fun and i got to be like alright kids lets go jump in the swamp and get extremely dirty before your parents come to pick you up in their rich-ass cars. it was wonderful to see the expressions on the parents faces. ahhh. we also so so many animals it was great (aside form the ones we have in the refuge side that are being healed or helping with education like our bald eagle snowy owl hawks foxes etc.) we saw tons of watersnakes (above our heads as we swamped through a skinny stream) and other snakes, kingsnake, black rat. and turtles, frogs, praying mantids galore, ginea hens, coopers hawk, deer of course and swans geese and ducks that swium in the lake. there was also a raccoon that we found nesting next to one of the basement windows with some babies. so cool. and there was some crazy flooding during camp time so it was cloosed one day, then later they found a baby beaver wiht no family were guessing form the floods and it was tiny and you pout little twigs in the tank wiht it and it would nibble working up to the big trees. the naturalists would go swimming wiht it in the lake. a loon was released too. so yeah it was fun. they wanted me to stay and be a naturalist. i was honestly tempted to drop out of school. well for that or archedream. thats the blacklight archetypal dance theater troupe im in. its the sickest thing ever. check out the website archedream.com. weve got a show coming up at the philly fringe festival on sept 10-12th. so come spring time i might just be touring with them and fuck school. but we'll see. its funny cos its the kind of thing i would be looking for after i graduated but im alreday in it. so its weird. but ill be in school full time at least for fall (18 credits argh) plus continue wiht archedream cos we do club gigs etc in bewteen play gigs. its the most perfect combination of elements i wanted in performing arts. plus i get to use gymnastics too. and mad creativity for choreographing and design. i get to use a giant hoola hoop for the fringe show. its super fun. plus im also working at the little gym again but only a little (like the gym). and im taking dance classes through a nice philly studio called koresch, discount classes cos of archedream. pretty sweet. im moving into an apartment complex called belmondo on the delaware (river) in the middle of yardley (a burb north of philly). its where neil is from and has his businesses. we are moving in with our friends endre and allison and evan. plus tank neil and my doggy. he just learned how to swim in the ocean a few days ago!!!!! before that we was super scared and refused to swim at all but for some reason he just jumped right in this time and was jumping waves and everything. guess he was finally ready. but yeah so our new aprtment should be nice and a relief from city life and insane and messy roommates. the chaos was too much even for me. but theres a pool and lawnage for tank (poor ghetto puppy) and the river is right there. fun stuff. im ready though cos ive been in limbo all month with no set house. chnage is coming thank the crazy lord. guess thats whats up with me lately. im getting further from vt (was barely there this summer) but i think im down with that. itll be soemthing lovely to go back to like a treat.
