Side note: There are fireworks going off at the river right now and Monty (my dog) is freakin' out!
So Anyway... Like the title says I will be posting my latest Youtube videos from the past two weeks. I'll finally be able to return to weekly updates of J-Entertainment News. \(^_^)/
And I got some goodies from Japan!!!
I just finished organizing my friends here on LJ (which took me awhile) to be able to be a better commenter and to start using my LJ more often. Which I plan to do more of.

I had so much news the first video that I decided to use the Interactive option I've done before on a few videos. That way people can click on the news, artist or group they are interested in instead of watching the whole video.

Last week's video didn't have as much news but the news I did have was pretty interesting. I swear, if I could I would definitely go to Johnny-san's Las Vegas show. I mean it would be so surreal. I really do wonder how the agency will change once he is really gone and has nothing to do with it anymore. I read somewhere once that its his sister or someone like that who would take over from him, but somehow I don't think it would be the same.
So my Japanese teacher Eisai-san recently got back from Osaka this weekend after being gone for two weeks. Two weeks where I didn't do much Japanese studying (>w<). Anyway, he always comes back bearing gifts and as has become the custom, he always brings me some magazines to look at. I think he is getting used to it because this time he didn't complain about having to buy magazines clearly aimed at young fangirls.
As we were looking through the magazines at our lesson (we have private lessons at McDonalds), he wouldn't let me unfold the posters because he thought it was embarrassing. I find it hilarious how he always asks if the Johnnys in the magazines are girls or boys. He knows their boys! Very pretty ones...
Another one of my requests was Curry!!! The last time he went to Japan he brought me instant curry because he knew I loved the Kaibutsu-kun dorama with Riida! I made him watch an episode of the drama, and the one he watched was the one where the old lady tells Kaibutsu-kun about adding a raw egg to his curry.
I had complained that the curry he bought me wasn't spicy at all so he decided to buy me one of the more spicy ones this time around. Since I'm Mexican he says I can handle it, but he probably wouldn't be able to stomach these.
I haven't eaten the instant one yet but I am going to have some friends over on Friday to make them the normal one. (^w^) I'm really looking forward to that.
And my final request was something to practice my Japanese reading with. His immediate thought was manga, but since he doesn't really read it he was at a loss as to what to buy.
In the end he decided to get manga that are popular with children. I am very happy with the choices and am slowly reading Chibi Maruko-chan and am actually surprised that I understand it okay. It doesn't have many kanji but that's okay it's what I need right now.
And tomorrow I'll be working on the week's video. There is some good news floating around so I'll have some fun with it.
