The trials and tribulations of navigating the Gold Coast

I have to pick up Shane from the airport today. Fortunately it's only the Coolangatta one instead of me having to drive all the way to the other side of Brisbane. Seriously.. it takes forever to get there. Anyways.. my referdex is still in the back of Jarryd's car so I'm going to have to wing it. I've been there before but never actually driving myself and everyone knows how crap I am with directions when I'm driving. Anyways, I'm just going to drive straight down the Pacific Motorway and hope eventually I'll get there. Apparently there is some set of lights I have to turn right at but it shouldn't be too difficult because you can only turn left or right. There is no forward. The road just ends apparently. Left takes you back onto the Gold Coast highway I'm told so I should be ok.

Besides that.. I miss my Shane. There will be impecable amounts of smoochies this afternoon, thats for sure. I think he's flying back to Sydney on Tuesday though.. so hopefully he won't be down there for much longer. This whole building a house in another part of the country stuff makes for lonely Amy.

Tomorrow night is Alyssa's party thingo. Portia tells me there's going to be heaps and heaps of people there. It should be fun. The only problem I'm having with this is apparently we have to park out the front of the complex (obviously because there is no parking near the houses in there. The road is rediculously small.). This bugs me because it is Nerang.. near the train station. Not exactly the safest place to park one's car. Especially if your boyfriend happens to drive a clubsport. I hate Nerang so much. I really do. Oh and Portia was telling me that Alyssa's friend Paul is going. I didn't think they were speaking anymore after the whole Jake is a cockwit on myspace part four hundred and ninety nine.. but anyways. Should be interesting. I get to meet the twit. MWAHAHAHAHAHA.

Anyways.. I need to get a plant for my fishtank. At least then I can be satisfied that my fish might actually be eating. They're so weird. They've turned into the living dead. I should get a snail too.
