life has just been crazy. Norwescon went very well. even though the preparations and getting there was a bit crazy. Saw lots of friends and made a few new ones. He he. Over all good. Getting things done slowly. Been doing house cleaning for a few friends and continually willing to take on new people. Also became a gardener for another friend. Just simple stiff, but since he son has gone off with military, she needs someone to help out. So yeah.
Only a couple weeks left till SCA kicks off, not really ready, but should be here shortly. I NEED to find a camper/ trailer something quickly...just craziness.
This year has been a really hard one. SO many deaths... last night I found out my dear SCA brother Skaarl, MKA Andrew Woods, passed away last month on the 17th. He had knee surgery a few days before and just was walking across campus and a clot hit his heart, and bam.
He makes like the 16 or 18th person that I've known, to pass this year and it's only the 14th week of the year. Either friends directly, or like their parent, grand parent, sibling...and of course including my grand Father passing in February. My mind is starting to block out all who have passed. I think partially just out of a coping mechanism. Dealing with death is normal, it is just the quantity that has been... I'm not sure of the word...numbing only partially covers. Just no time to get a full recharge.
I know I don't say it enough but I love you all. Please call, write, communicate often.
Please take care.
