Ok, here's the deal. I've been sick for the last three weeks, waking up coughing, sore throat, just not feeling at 100%. Ever since that 8 miler that i did when I was at my worst, I've been under the weather. So fine, I tried to run through it, and it didn't work. I've been outside in the cold alot with all the skiing that I've been doing. I was going to institute the "shower rule" that I had in the Czech republic to keep me motivated.. that is, no showers for me unless I run. Seems like a good idea, but the only reason it worked there was b/c I was living in a tent, digging in the dirt all day, without much access/time for showers daily anyhow. Somehow, showering twice a week just won't work as well in the real world. So, what to do. I think I'm just going to try and get healthy this week, and the first day that I wake up without junk in my throat, I;m going for a run.
Anyhow, I have a gazillion hours of reading and stuff to do today. welcome back to grad school.
Oh, in other news, I rock. I changed my friend's flat tire last night in the mall parking lot. By myself (well, a guy came along, and I let him hold up his flashlight). I don't know, it just made me feel good. And I got dinner and drinks outta the deal! ;)
