So I've finally decided to update this journal! I know Josh will be happy about that, even though I talk to him the most other than my family! Hehe. I'm also going to multitask and write my collections management study draft at the same time.

Josh and I are doing more than fantastic! He and I traveled to Ohio in October, and he was able to meet a large chunk of my extended family. I’m a huge family/friends person and the people in my life mean everything to me, thus how much this trip meant to me. It was fun and everyone liked him.

Christmas is only 2 weeks away! Oye I am so excited!!!!!! This is my favorite time of year, and I cannot wait to spend it with family, friends and Joshua! My family and I are going to spend the time in Ohio, which will be our first trip during the holidays in years.

Katie has a boyfriend and he is a nice guy so I won’t have to beat anyone up for hurting my sister. To bee honest, if you add a baseball cap and go-te (spelled correctly? probably not) he looks like Steve (Amanda’s fiancée), which is solely my opinion. Haha! Katie seems happy, which is very good.

It appears that Josh and I might be spending New Years with Mike and Kristine, which would be fun.

I think I might have found the problem over the first few months this semester. I might be lactose intolerant. It was suggested to me to try not drinking milk and its byproducts. In only a matter of a couple weeks I felt 95% better! I eat my first WHOLE slice of normal (with all its calories, sugar and fat) for the first time in years the other week at a work holiday lunch-in. Wouldn’t you know it…I felt like crap that afternoon and night. I am making a doctor’s appointment today (hopefully) and check this officially. Bye, bye frozen yogurt without a lactose pill!

My cousin Kari and her new husband Chadd (an Australian cop) are happily living in Australia, and are now expecting a little one! I’m very excited for them and cannot wait to hear more news!

Class is going well, although I only had one class-like project all semester (which is fine by me). One of my classes (curator, in which we create an exhibition for the galleries) felt like an extension to my job, which I highly enjoyed. I honestly do believe that you learn more by doing and experiencing, which is what this class has been. I cannot wait to work on the exhibition more in January! It should be a great exhibition. My main project in my other class involved writing a strategic plan and resource guide for a local Art Park outside of Syracuse, which took up more time than I thought it would! Much of the class material itself is on governance, and that is something I am all too familiar with due to my work on ACE in Kutztown. My one and only school-like class is an independent study in collections management, which I only truly got started on a month or so ago. Being sick at night for months as a time really does give you a lack of motivation and energy to do research. I have been working on it throughout the last month, and have requested a short extension (only a few days more). I finished wrapping gifts last night and had a wave of energy, which I in turn utilized to write more of my paper.

I LOVE my job and the people I work with, and although I am excited to graduate in May and find a full-time job, I will be sad to leave the galleries. I’ve learned a lot, and enjoy working there, but I am ready to move-on (which will include me moving back to PA).

If I haven't talked to you in awhile and you will be in PA in December...let me know!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!
