I've had a very interesting...and very good...week thus far.

Gallery installation is currently underway in the gallery for the MFA (Master of Fina Arts) Exhibtion. The walls are up and most are painted, which was fantastic and I'm happily surprised at the rate things are going. I wasn't expected so much to already by complete. We should have the show up sometime mid-next week. I'll probaly be in the gallery all day today working on finishing the gallery set-up itself and promotion. I'm also starting the labels and checklist today, which can only be done until a certain point until the work has been installed.

I have o-so much work to do this weekend. I want to get my taxes done and mailed out Friday; I'll be filling out my last FASFA form too (woooohoooo....I hate that crap let me tell you, but I need those loans); MFA exhibit promotion; finishing the grading of my student's mid-terms, in addition to the 3 things they turned in this week which include a response paper, the first part of their researh project and a quiz (the professor I work for apartenyly enjoys loading the student and TAs up on work); Linda's paper and presentation on docent tours (work for a class of mine, which shouldn't take me all that long for it is a fairly easy assignment); and possibly taking my car into the shop, which I might wait to do until I get back to PA and the trustful CJs Tires (where my parents go).

Had an interview for a job yesterday. It went REALLY well, but I do not want to get my hopes up too much. They seemed extrememly interested in hiring me, but like I said....no hopes.

I liked the band Forty Foot Echo before I discovered their Myspace page, but after listening to the songs on the page....well I'm a little obsessed. I can only afford to download 2 songs from I-Tunes, and I already had one on a soundtrack. Poo poo on money. Very good band in my opinion, especially the songs "Brand New Da" and "Save Me." Love it.
:)

Called Amanada yesterday and we talked for awhile. Talked to my sister online, which is always amusing.
Going to Cleveland soon. If my internview goes as well there as it did yesteday, well all I have to say is WOOHOO....damn right.
:)
