I want to talk to you, internet, though I'm not sure why. I suppose I have too many thoughts that are too strange to communicate to people in the proper way, or too dull

I love Hollyoaks almost too much, but I'm worried this issue might become a sticking point between me and the show. We're expected to get over things very quickly, accept very quick grieving periods, character changes etc. For example: The actor who plays Sonny has been sacked! Goodbye Sonny! Oh look! There's a new loveable scamp younger brother! Let's not bother mentioning Sonny or telling him about his new-found siblings!
I think I fell out of love with Eastenders when Dennis left. I say left - I mean brutally killed for no good reason, just because the actor wanted to run off to musical theatre (which I saw) and terrible ITV dramas (which I didn't.) Why couldn't he have just gone to America with Sharon? I would have felt satisfied and left with some hope. There is no point to Sharon returning either. I only tolerated her because she made Dennis happy and gave him a reason to take off his top etc.
What is John-Paul going to DO now? Get over this undying love in about a week and find a nice, handsome gay man at university? Will we ever hear of Craig again? Is everyone just going to ignore the fact that he won't be around for holidays like a normal student? How will political-Nancy react to Jake's sudden homophobic disease? Why is Foz in Neighbours?!?
I think I spend far too much time worrying about this!
I have in the past drifted in and out with Hollyoaks but the JP/Craig storyline kept me in there and I'm not sure they have anything else coming up I'm that interested in. I hadn't realised Sonny had been sacked, I knew he'd been in trouble for bad behaviour. I'm still not really over how quickly Justin recovered from Becca dying although it does get mentioned every now and then and at least they managed to remember the fire last week.
I stopped watching Eastenders when Dennis left as well, in fact I'd given up on that and only came back when he was in it. I've never seen the episode where he died because if I don't see it it didn't happen.
My ideal for the resolution of the JP storyline now would be that he and Craig keep in contact by phone/txt but we don't see Craig and eventually JP leaves to be with Craig. They could do that without us having to see Craig again. I loved the way that Craig left and his family did act like they were never going to see him again and it doesn't appear that he has spoken to them since he left as they don't know that JP didn't go. As for Jake, Nancy will never have any idea how he felt as Craig won't get mentioned.
Seriously Foz is in Neighbours!
If you spend too much time worrying about this it's obvious I do as well. Oh I saw Nigel Harman in musical theatre as well and also in the terrible tv drama.
