Surprised!
Well I checked my email this afternoon and I'm completely shocked. I've been nominated at "He Had it Coming" Dramione awards. Don't think I'm worthy, but I would like to thank whoever nominated me. It is an honor. I don't know how you go about finding out who nominated you. Still new at fanfiction here. Took a five year hiatus from internet writing

i completely agree with you about the whole draco being insecure and not being friends with harry and ron. it's completle understandable not to mention totally expected, what i meant was that i can't stand stories where the plot goes like this "hermione realises that harry and ron were only friends with her for her brains to pass school/defeat voldie"...or my personal favourite "hermione is in a abusive relationship with harry/ron..who turns out to be her unexpected knight in shinning armour?" or like "hermione's changed and (ofcourse her bestest best) friends dont notice/ignore her"...they make me want to bang my head.
anyway...about this chapter i actually wished draco would have been a bit more fluffy (how girly of me)about the baby, but i think i like your potrayl more cause its more in character and it actually highlights how much he wants this even more.
haha ron was funny in this chapter too.
oh and congratulation on getting the award...you completely deserve it!

Oh, I should have been more clear, I knew what you meant. I mean fanfiction is good and you don't have to have everyone IN CHARACTER all of the time. That's nice really, however to simply alienate Ron and Harry for the purpose of getting D/Hr together doesn't always work for me. I do agree with you on those points above as well.
Well, I almost wrote overwhelming fluff a few weeks ago when I finished this chapter, but then I went back and thought, hmmm, fluffy Draco doesn't work for this particular fic so thank you for liking how he worked things out so to speak.
Yeah, Ron was like a little firework just waiting to explode wasn't he. Come on, he's been waaaay too tame the last few chapters and needed to blow off some steam. Thanks for liking him as well.
