I have so much energy! I can't sit still.
My mind is like a train with no brakes.
and I think I've figured out why.
it's because I don't have a release!
some people listen to music or make music or do something to express themselves.
this journal is the best release I have (and working out actually, that helps).
but as soon as i think I am all tired out, the energy just comes flooding back and burns.
it's like someone saying. "do, do, do, do" in my head all the time!
I have to do! Do something!
It takes me an hour to fall asleep at night.
An hour of just laying there until my mind finally catches something and runs with it!
and i know the one thing that would give me that release.
but i can't do it, because it's not a mutual thing:
a kiss has to be mutual!
yet, while i dislike having so much energy, there is a bonus.
i can just sit down and burn. burn. burn. burn.
if i don't move, I can feel every cell on my body burning, moving, multiplying.
but then i go crazy and have to move again.
what to do! i remember this great quote from this song by the strokes called heart in a cage. it goes like this:
Well I don't feel better
When I'm f'ing around
And I don't write better
When I'm stuck in the ground
So don't teach me a lesson
Cause I've already learned
Yeah the sun will be shining
And my children will burn
Oh the heart beats in its cage
I don't want what you want
I don't feel what you feel
See I'm stuck in a city
But I belong in a field
and even further, the strokes also have a song called reptilia (awesome song) and it has the perfect line:
I said please don't slow me down
If I'm going too fast
