its nice to let our guard down once in a while.
its undeniable, we all need some escape.
Some people get this from video games, some from reading, some from talking with others, some from their loved ones.
Whatever the way you get this escape, everyone needs it.
personally, i get mine from a lot of things. being open with friends, helping people. oh what a nice feeling I have after I help someone get an A on a test, or build something, or w/e, but that feeling of knowing you helped someone accomplish something? its different. completely.
i use to escape here, now not so much. I guess its because there is a lot that can only be said in person. and reading it here takes a lot out of the meaning.
for example, if i were to say "i love you" online or over aim or w/e its great, sure.
but when it is said in person? there can be emotions displayed, eyes can serve as windows to the souls, hands can tremble, hearts can noticably beat faster and faster until it feels like it'll blow up from excitement. all these things are missed online. they're not communicated that well. if at all.
theres more to this guard than what meets the eye. but writing it here would do nothing to explain it further, it must be shown.
