Something to look forward to...

Winter, she is here. There is a mere few inches of snow on the ground right now, but unlike my dear home in Alberta, these few inches will stay until at least March, and before then they will be joined by many more.

A little photo journey into Yuletide last year, and the joys of snow yet to come:

Our home in early January last year.

The wind constantly laying drifts on the side of the house makes it that much more fun!

Ever wonder why a person would be lazy enough to buy a snow blower?

The drive to Alberta promises to be as fun as ever...

Turns out black ice really does look black! The roads on our trip back to Saskatchewan last year were as slick as a seal's ass.

Deb in a car with Martino for 8 hours is not a pleasant person.

Ah, but the trip is worth it in the end! Though I've never seen that much snow in Alberta in December in my entire life!

Damn you, mountains! Why couldn't you look like that for my photoshoot with Sarah? Fuck you AND your alpine meadows.

This is a cross country jump, y'all.

A rarity in Alberta, winter fog is kick-ass!

And of course the best part about going home - Mighty!!!

photos, bad weather, mountains
