Take 2: Wow has YouTube ever gotten draconian about their time limits! My video was only 1 minute over the time limit and they rejected it! I had to cut some stuff, reformat it and wait a million years for it to upload again!
Did you finish up the last entry? I want to see even all the dry and boring bits finished up before dessert!
Okay, so this is a little video that I made up of clips that I took on the last day during the day and the few moments that I had free while getting the horses ready. Get ready to experience nauseatingly shaky hand-cam action with exciting (read: halting) and explicit dialogue!
It's basically just meeting the horses, a quick tour of the grounds and a few tidbits of grooming advice, me looking like six different kinds of ass from being beyond caring by the end of the week. At one point my video was interrupted by some members of the public asking about the magnetic foot pad, but I ended up leaving the camera running through some of it before I realized it was still on. I left it in there for fun - it's basically me confessing that I think the magnets are a joke, and the rest of the conversation was more of the same. Oh, and I forgot to mention that for those braids, not only are they the prettiest jumper braids that you can do, they also hold up to the abuse of jumping and being bumped by the rider's hands. While at the ring I noticed that every single other horse with braids had them in various states of chaos after the first round, on two horses they were even half-fallen out. Quipa's still looked as good as when she left the grooming stall!
For the little clip with Smartie, the camera didn't pick up what I'm saying very well, so to transcribe "This is Smartie again. This horse makes you feel like the most loved person in the whole world. She loves to cuddle." *sniff* I miss her already!
