Today... Good Luck?
The weather was a perfect 10 today. Warm in the Sun, cool in the shade. Keith and I took a ride to Lowes to get a ladder and a garbage can. It's funny how nice weather can make a day so enjoyable to where nothing pisses you off. I actually didn't mind dealing with the public today.
At one point, I was in our back yard, just laying in the grass with the sunshine in the middle of the sky. How wonderful that feels after months of cold weather. Anyhow, I've been looking through all the clover in our yard for a four leaf clover since before the NFL playoffs. After the Saints won the Superbowl, though, I figured I no longer needed good luck. But, for some reason, I felt the need to continue looking. You see, I've never actually found a four leaf clover in my entire life. It was always someone else who would find one, not me. So, after about 10 minutes of looking today, I gave up. Then, as I was sitting on my stone bench, I noticed a tiny cluster of clover popping up between the crack in the paved deck. Then I realized it was on a single stem. When I picked it, I noticed it was not a four leaf clover at all, but a FIVE leaf clover!!! Those are even more rare!!! Maybe I'm lucky today, so I'm going to buy a lottery ticket...
