The Right Place, The Right Time, The Right Lighning, Wrong Camera
I was able to capture a waterspout from my crappy camera phone. I'm kicking myself in the arse for not brining my slr.
Anyhow, we were having coffee at Puccino's tonight when out of nowhere a waterspout emerged from a lightning storm, came ashore right in front of us, blew out transformers, threw debris all over the place, (and out came Chtulu...). Except for the Chtulu part, it all happened, and here are the photos. It was quite surreal to see this beast of nature emerge from nowhere and release it's wrath upon Fat City. What an experience. The photos don't do it justice.
