Doyle rubbed the back of his neck and sighed contently at the soothing feeling that it sparked in his body. He was tired, and finished for the day. With work, talking with Xander about the new town deputy, and drawing, Doyle was ready for sleep.
Much needed and much deserved. School was around the corner and always Doyle had got all the supplies he needed and a basic idea of the type of courses he wanted to take, foreboding if there wasn’t a romantic lead in his life by then. He figured he’d put studies off to pay her more attention -- that was until his demon half got in the way.
He was nearly to his room when his body went stiff and a burning hot feeling of pain crept up his spine. “No… not now,” he growled out through gritted teeth before the pain exploded at the base of his brain, causing him to slam hard against the dorm hallway’s walls and yell out in pain, a pain that brought him to his knees and left a dent in the wall itself.
Then the flashes came. Bright, blinding, and burning all at the same time.
Three kids. Vampire. Vampire. Kids. Loud music. The smell of liquor and marijuana. Screaming. The sounds of death. Blood. Smell of blood. Growling. The kids running. Demon. Sacrificial table. Dagger. Blood. Biloxi, Mississippi. Clock that read 12:00AM.
And then with a flash of pain the vision ended and Doyle was on the floor, his eyes blood shot and the feeling of something had taking his head and ran over it. He laid there for ten minutes, gasping and shaking before he finally reached a shaking hand into his pocket and pulled out a bottle of aspirin and shoved seven pills into his mouth and swallowed them dry.
He crawled, slowly using the wall for support as he got to his room and took Xander’s car keys to his vehicle from off his desk. “Christ,” Doyle breathed out as he rested his forehead against the door frame. After another ten minutes, when the pain wasn’t as bad, Doyle snuck from the dorm house and took Xander’s car -- driving to the ferry dock to get to where he needed to play hero.
[ooc note: Thread closed, but you can post what your characters hear/react being that Doyle is rather loud when he has a vision. Cameron and Doyle are going to be going away for a few days because I'm going on a weekend vacation. I'm just posting reasons to why Doyle and Cameron won't be in town.]
