I'm baaaack

Wow. I did not realize how creatively drained I had gotten. I just wasted seven months of my life on people that turned out to be totally toxic and exude really bad karma. I knew I had stopped reading, writing and crafting but believed it all to be for some higher goal. I'm not saying that I still would not love a major career change but not at the cost of morphing into a black butterfly with shredded wings again. One does not realize how far down the rabbit hole they have gone until they see daylight again...and it was blinding.

In the past four days, I have started writing again. With an early Christmas present of more RAM, I started digi-collaging with a real flow as I don't have to wait for Photoshop to catch up to me, plus I'm finally able to employ the copy of Paint Shop Pro I installed a while ago that continuously crashed due to not enough umph from this PC. 2GB makes soooo much difference. I've also re-discovered the desire to read. I plan on attacking the copy of The DaVinci Code loaned to me last week, starting tonight. By Christmas the goal is to finish it, Harry Potter 7 and the lastest addition to The Outlander series that I actually started reading last summer.

So, the tradition will continue for the third year of my annual Christmas fanfic and hopefully the final chapter will be posted by Christmas this time. I will be making gifts for family members and co-workers and a certain diva's tiara that got unceremoniously hucked at me in a hissy fit, will go out to the curb with the rest of the trash this weekend. I hope some day you realize how far a simple "thank you" can go. :D
