finally, shit to talk about.
i'm adopting a cat tomorrow afternoon. i'm really excited to bring him home. he's a sweetheart; and the bonus is that he's already neutered AND declawed! he's polydactyl, which is pretty awesome too. all i need is a name. i've been thinking on it for days now and am still uncertain. i have a tough time with things like that. parker was already 3 days old when we finally named HIM! i could have a nameless cat for weeks.
i've been organizing the house some finally, and even the small amount i've accomplished so far is making me feel a lot better. i think better when clutter is gone. i haven't thought clearly for years now.
on saturday, justin and i are going to the AMC movie showcase of all 5 Best in Picture nominees for the oscars. i'm really excited about getting the chance to spend an entire day in the theatre. it's a dream come true for both of us; thank god we got the babysitting! i'm sure i will gain 10 pounds from ingesting popcorn and soda all day long (and probably a hot dog or two in there somewhere).
the flaming lips tickets go on sale on friday. i'm thinking about getting up early to make sure i'm online to get them the minute they go on sale. i can hardly believe they are finally coming to florida after all these years of ignoring us. it gives me hope that other bands might see the error of their ways skipping fl. on tour. just because we're america's wang doesn't mean we don't have some cool people with money to buy tickets!
parker's top molars broke through the gums today. two at one (one on each side). tooth news is boring, i know... but it's what goes on in my life.
