I wrote this during a church service trying to keep myself entertained. I wrote as I thought. I'm afraid if I would have stopped writing I would have gone insane and all of the church members would attempt casting the devil out of me... anyways, here it is ( Read more... )

I've already tried it.. it was the last thing I tried before I just finally gave up on christianity all together. I don't feel connected to god. I look back, and I don't truely love god, I don't have a real relationship with him. I don't even know him. Whether I really believe in him or not or if he even truely exsist, I can't seem to ever love him enough, because I don't know him. Reading the bible isn't enough, and I'm not one to trust what others say about him. I don't judge unless I hear it from the source. And I can't continue with it anymore, and I don't think I can ever go back. I'm already involved in a irish based pagan religion, and I'm actually much happier, I feel at peace and my life has been running smoothly. Of course The questions on how things were created come back up, but I'm knew in what I'm studying and I can't just run crying the other way. for 16 years I've been studying Christianity, in the end I've found nothing and now it's time I search some where else. I'm worn, I'm tired, and I need to be revitalize from something new. ^.^ I didn't mean for any of this to be shot back or message of "Leave me alone" tone. I'm just saying whats on my mind. Thank you for taking the time to read and giving suggestions.

thanx for sharing...i love irish culture; i'm not extremely familiar with all of the different religions flowing from their history. i'm reading this book Patrick by Stephen Lawhead, and it (a fictional novel) has some stuff about some of the druids which I found very interesting. i'll have to read up more on the different religions...what's the name of the particular sect/philosophy that you are involved in?

Celtic Shamanism, theres a great book out that explains the history and how it's different from Native American Shamanism. The book is called "By Oak, Ash, and Thorn" You can find a nice teaser on it on www.amazon.com
