Alien vs Predator: Requium
I know many did not like this movie, many told me as much but I still decided to go see it.
But you really need to simply turn your brain off going to see this. Don't expect some great story, in-depth character exploration or anything like that. It's a monster movie.
So I was expecting an average movie that would entertain me for a few hours and that is what I got.
They decided to go for a little more action than the first and put in a Predator of far more skill and ability than the last which I was glad off. A Predator should easily be able to take on a number of Aliens. The big bad Alien-Predator hybrid was a little silly and I am still a little confused as to how it came about and it is certainly less silly than the Alien-human in Aliens 4.
Little niggles are that the Aliens were a little easy to kill. they were being killed by machine guns and pistols where as in the Aliens movie it took pulse rifles with eexplosive rounds. Also the closeness of the camera to the action meant you could not see the action as much.
You finally got to see the Predator homeworld in this movie which was good.
Overall an average movie which passes the time and I would probably watch it again.
