Yes I'm alive!
I know - I suck at blogging. I am made of fail in that regard.
However I win at life! For one - I have now lost 80 pounds! I should really do some before and after photos because even I forget sometimes just how major a difference that is.
Second - I have met a guy who is absolutely amazing and am happier than I have ever been. After my divorce I was so busy getting my esthetician license and trying to get back on my feet that dating was the furthest thing from my mind. I got on a couple of online dating sites just to see what they were all about more than anything and even stated in my profiles that I was not interested in serious relationships - just to meet new people and have fun. Talked to a few guys, went on a couple dates with one and then ended up meeting a guy named Bobby and we talked for a while online and then via text before we were actually able to meet up. That was July 1st. We've been joined at the hip ever since. My plan for no serious relationship went right out the window. We have so much in common - like the same music, movies, tv, games and are both photographers, he makes me laugh and makes me feel beautiful. He's got kids as well, a boy and girl, and their ages are right around my kids's ages and they all get along great. The relationship is definitely serious - we're looking at moving in together - and I couldn't be happier.
Moral of that story - if love drops into your lap do NOT ignore it just because you think it's "to soon". Grab hold and don't let go!
