Well. That went well.
Ways in which this was a Good Day:
1. Slept in a little, but not enough to make myself late. This was nice.
2. Wore favorite outfit complete with twirly skirt. It was awesome.
3. Nice weather, and parking spot close to my apartment.
4. Going to my nice new job that has paid lunches and holidays, especially useful for the upcoming holiday weekend.
5. Having the cash on hand to go out to lunch during said paid lunch hour.
Ways in which this was a REALLY FUCKING HORRIBLE DAY:
1. Driving out of the office parking lot on the way to get my sandwich and rear-ending a semi truck while checking my blind spot in an attempt to change lanes not 200 feet after I left work.
2. Front end of my car (borrowed from my parents for the summer) being smashed up and partially crumpled despite having crashed at approximately 10-15 mph and the semi ironically having not a scratch.
3. The really terrible noise MY PARENTS CAR HOMG made when I turned it back on to move it off the street.
4. Having to go back to work after making a police report. The fact that I was paid $11.50 for the hour I spent having a car accident instead of eating a sandwich helps not at all in the face of the amount of money I will probably have to spend to repair the car.
5. Hiding in the bathroom to have a good cry over my first car accident and then realizing I sound like a fool and my face is now all red and blotchy, and I still have to go back to work.
In conclusion, OH MY GOD I JUST SMASHED MY PARENTS CAR WHAT DO I DO. OH SHIT.
