*freedom*
For all that this country claims it, I don't think it completely captures the ideal. Too often the government will suddenly come up with a reason to limit it. Like this bullshit about amending the constitution to define marriage as between a man and a woman. Freedom is very important to me. I demand freedom to be myself. I demand the freedom to live up to my potential. I demand the freedom to choose what I love and think beautiful. Do not think me ungrateful for what freedom we do have here. But the recent attempts of Bush and co. have begun to make me wonder how long we will have the freedom that so many Americans died for. I dont like the government. But I *do* love America itself. The land is beautiful. Its potential is beautiful. "I'm proud to be an American, where at least I know I'm free." The only limits we have are those we make ourselves.

*truth*
This should not be read as THE TRUTH. I mean truth in the fact that we need to be honest with each other and honest with ourselves most of all. Society tells us that games and half-truths are okay. We should try not be caught in that net. I also hold personal truth highly. Not the one truth for all people, but the truth that is TRUTH for you and you alone. This especially applies to religion. "There is not one Truth, but many"

*love*
Love. So many religions preach love in some way or another. This said, why is it so hard for the world to try for love instead of hate? Hatred is a learned behavior like racism and prejudice. Love comes naturally, pouring from the depths of our souls. Love is powerful. love IS life. Love is immeasurably important to me. I love my gods. I love my boyfriend. I love my family, pets. I love my friends. I love nature itself.

Edit: original ending taken out because it was offensive and spoken in ignorance and bias. apologies to any who read it already.
