just saw this movie, about the creation of facebook. interesting enough
and i have to say i am tempted to try it... i have been on livejournal for nearly 7 years. longest time i have ever continued using a social network. (not sue if youtube counts as close as my first account was closed down due to copyright infringement) anyhow i dont have a facebook because once upon a time i was content on livejournal and myspace came along and all of my friends and coworkers told me i needed to get onto it, i eventually caved (mainly because it was the only way to communicate with kia who lived 2 hours away at he time) as everyone knows myspace kinda died. no one is on it anymore they are all on facebook and now they want me on there.I am frustrated with the social network "leapfrog". when i was first introduced to facebook i made a promise to myself that i would never get on facebook, because i was/am so sure what will happen. just what happened to every other social network. if anyone is even reading this.... you are likely the only one. after all who is on livejournal anymore? oh yes my friends list is still pretty active, mostly with the communities i am in. which is my favorite feature something i dont think any other new social network can copy. oh ya and mark zuckerberg blogged on a livejournal before he created facebook :)
i wonder if i can continue to hold out until the next big thing comes out... even my relatives are eager to have me on facebook
guess we shall see
