Dear Amber,
Congratulations! I have heard back from NUI, Galway and I am happy to inform

Ireland this summer! I am so excited for you to experience this amazing
opportunity!
Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns
regarding your program in Galway this summer. Thanks!

^--------------- best e-mail ever! I'm just trying to focus on the excitement of going abroad this summer,
of meeting new people, and just an all around new experience instead of worrying about finances. (To make a long
story short, I'm only getting $630 in aid...).
So yeah. Tá sé seans iontach!
This has been a HUGE debate for me for the past few weeks. I mean, I actually want to come back to Florida; there's a
a lot going on this summer. Crystal and Liz are graduating from SP (about time!), Leah is graduating from...being homeschooled,
and Taylor who I've known for 15ish years is also graduating. I want to be there for all of that. I want to see
mom, grandma, and my friends before I go overseas...I just don't know if it's financially do-able. Grandma pointed out
that I shouldn't spend extra money on airfare when I could put it towards my trip and she didn't hesitate in reminding me
that I need to find a new apartment as well as someone to take over my current lease. So now I've been stuck between a rock and a hard
place, torn between doing what I want to do and what I should do. It pains me to say it but, at east right now, it looks like I'm
staying here at Pitt until I leave June 20th :( Maybe it won't be so bad. Lauren says that she will be spending most of her summer
with her parents so she'll seldom be in our apartment, not to mention that I have a few friends who are staying here as well. Some
of these friends are the ones graduating next week so it would be nice to spend more time together before they "grow up" and decide
what they want to do with their lives. But who knows? Maybe plans will change so that I can spend at least some time in Fl. Maybe.
Thankfully I have one thing that's definite- Ireland. And get this! Maríe and Bríe will be in Ireland for the second half of my stay,
so we're already making plans on meeting up and possibly going to Ros na Run :)
One thing you can bet on is that I'll keep you guys posted.
