In a nutshell: winter term I'm going to Africa.
I've decided I'm not content simply following the path laid in front of me anymore. I've done it my whole life, and I feel I'm no longer emotionally connected to my own life. It's no way to be.
So, I've decided after winter break I will be going to South Africa and volunteering for Kruger National Park. I will essentially be working as a bushranger in an area that contains almost absurd amounts of wildlife. For example: over 11,000 elephants live in the Kruger, and over 150,000 antelope. The park is absolutely massive and completely wild. It's terrifying and amazing and those are the two things I've been missing most in my life.
Here's a link to the project website i'm going to be a part of, followed by a link to wikipedia's article on Kruger Park. Check them out:

If any of you feel like saying goodbye, you should stop bye, or call or something. I'd like to see you. Maybe I'll have a little get together over winter break, so that I can gather most of you together and get a little sentimental.
I leave december 29th. If I don't see you before then...
bye!
