Hmm, that's an interesting question - would Sam have taken the same action to save Dean? I think Sam's love for Dean is as strong as vice versa, but I'm not sure he would have allowed possession of Dean IF he were sure Dean would not have agreed to it. Sam has been fighting for the right and ability to decide his own actions all his life, so the question of non-con possession kind of cuts to the core for him. I don't think he would betray Dean like that. However, I do think he would agree to be possessed himself if it were the only way to save Dean (or, you know, Dean plus the rest of the world ;). I hope I'm not coming across as anti-Dean at all, because I love Dean almost as much as Sam does. I think both brothers value the other above all else, but for Dean that means putting Sam's life above allowing him to be violated, while for Sam it might mean putting Dean's safety from violation above his life ( ... )

I agree but I think Sam would have allowed it in earlier seasons - I think being possessed by Meg and then saying yes to Lucifer has changed his perspective.

great insight!

Totally! They are both self-sacrificing, as seen when Dean planned to say yes to Michael and Sam said yes to Lucifer - and the other brother was against these decisions.

I am not sure how they are playing Ezekiel - does he have a hidden agenda? Is he going to be a friend or foe? He may just be set to be the angel-powered Cas this season, as Cas has had his grace taken away. Not enough info - only time will tell.

I've stopped watching, but where I stopped was about 3 eps into S7. So, I avoid spoilers as a rule.

Wincon was great! Casinos are horrible, smelly places, but that's Vegas. The hotel was nice otherwise, and it was very well organized and a lot of fun. I really enjoy getting to see my fandom friends. I'd hoped you'd be there, because surely it can't be farther than Chicago? Though that WAS an epically long drive...
