Great read. I remember really loving No Longer That Girl, it was nice to see a sequel.

I didn't mind Piz very much when he was on the series, but I can definitely tell the difference between my mild indifference and actually really liking him. Yay for that.

Lilly, once again, was fascinating to watch. I've read a lot of "Lilly Lives" fics the go to one extreme or another -- she's either still 16-year-old wild child Lilly, or, depending on the story, Veronica-lite. These characterizations may have their place, but can't help but prefer this kind of story. I love that there is tangible, realistic growth here, and it fit very well.

Now, I don't think it's ever been a secret that Logan's not my favorite character, but I do love what you did with him here. I would have loved a Lilly/Veronica BFF bonding scene (and you totally have to write a sequel so that we get one), but I think the Logan/Lilly interaction was very appropriate for the story, and actually made things much clearer for Lilly than a scene between her and Veronica could have.

All in all -- yay! Excellent characterizations, and room for a second sequel. What more could a girl ask for?

Thanks for reviving this world!

It's interesting that you say that, because an earlier version of this had a conversation with Lilly and Veronica instead of Logan. But I ended up going with Logan because Lilly and Logan had waaaay more baggage between them, so it was important to show how they got past that. With Veronica, it's easier to see how she would have forgiven Lilly right away.

I'm so glad you like the characterization of Lilly--what you've described is just what I had in mind for her, so I'm happy that came across!
