Spam me with your OTP(s)!

Idea borrowed from serendipityxxi :

I've got a lot of boring writing to do today and I'd really rather be working on my latest vmfic_gameon fic, so I need a fandom fix. Reply here with caps of your OTP(s) and tell me why you love them! They can be canon, non-canon, or just wishful thinking. :)

It won't surprise anyone here to read that this is my number-one OTP:

Logan and Veronica, Veronica Mars

Some say it was the writing--and while the dialogue for these characters is great, the same writers were also responsible for Duncan and Piz, so... Others say it was the acting, but Kristen Bell didn't have nearly this level of chemistry with Teddy Duncan or Chris Lowell, and not for lack of trying. Ultimately, I think the creators of Veronica Mars caught lightning in a bottle--it was a perfect combination of writing, acting, chemistry, and a number of other factors that just came together perfectly for this 'ship. So perfectly, in fact, that even when the writers totally fucked things up in season 3, it was our memories of s1 that kept us coming back, hoping and praying that things would get back to their previous glory (also the reason that many of us write VM fic).

The very close runners-up are:

Buffy and Angel, Buffy the Vampire Slayer

This was my very first OTP obsession! I watched the show when it first aired, so I was completely unspoiled and totally surprised when we discovered Angel was a vampire. He thought she was just a girl who needed his help, and was surprised (and not a little turned on) to find that she could kick his ass. She learned that sometimes evil can be redeemed. Of course there was angst (Surprise/Innocence and Becoming Pt. 1 and 2 made me bawl my eyes out) but their banter could be really funny too. Action, drama, romance, humor--everything I could want in an OTP. All other vamp-related ships pale in comparison.

Coach and Tami (aka Mrs. Coach), Friday Night Lights

The best marriage on television, hands down. When they argue, they argue like people who love each other, not like they're trying to hurt each other. They treat each other like equals and they talk out their problems, avoiding all the usual cliches of mistrust and deception that you so often see in TV marriages. And through it all, they're still best friends who are totally hot for each other (and how could they not be--look at them!).

~*~*~*~

Chuck and Sarah, ChucK

When they met, Chuck thought he was a hapless, underachieving loser, and Sarah thought she was incapable of real emotion. Each has helped the other realize that they were wrong, that they are better than they thought they were. Even when they're not a couple, they still care about each other and want what's best for the other person, even at their own expense.

~*~*~*~

Parker and Hardison, Leverage

They were both foster kids, yet while Parker emerged quite damaged, Hardison came out pretty well-adjusted. But because of their similar backgrounds, they understand each other. While others think Parker is crazy, Hardison appreciates her quirkiness. She knows she's a tough nut to crack, and she appreciates that he keeps trying. Plus, they're so damn funny when they do their FBI agents Leonard and Elmore routine.

There are plenty of others, but those are the OTPs that are occupying my brain space at the moment. How about you?
