Aww. Trina. I liked Dick's comment at the end about Trina continuing to come and get him after he puked in her car. Nice touch. Sweet chapter and great job on giving Trina extra dimensions to what we've already seen. It's nice to see her as something other than the bitchy older sister. Time for Part 3! Yay!

I think Trina gets a bad rap sometimes--she was just as messed up from being raised by Aaron, just in a different way than Logan. And she did come pick him up when he was drunk (repeatedly) and he did try to protect her from her abusive boyfriend, so I think there was a little kernel of affection in there. :)

The whole dream with Lynn was so...

just couldn’t be there anymore. You weren’t enough <----So honest and so selfish. I think a lot of people tend to show Lynn as a victim. And while she is in some ways...I'd have more sympathy for her if it weren't for Logan. She knew what was happening to her son, and rather than deal with it, she drank.

Logan's convo with Trina was touching. I'm not one of those people who hated her. She had her own issues and did crappy things just like any other character. She also had a nice side. I like the way you wrote her here. She's just human.

The Dick/Trina jokes had me giggling.

Me either. I think she had issues from being raised by Aaron too. But that scene at the end of Russkie Business, where she picks him up and it's implied that she's done this many times before, made me think that deep down she cares about him. And he cares about her too, since he tried to protect her from Dylan. So maybe with Aaron removed from the equation, they can get along without snarking each other to death.
