Tonight, jeremy and i went to my uncle mikes house, to go mushroom hunting. we found TWO thats IT! So my uncle decided to open up his safe of guns. Which is not a little safe, and it has quite an elaborate selection. to name a few we shot off a block 9mm and a 223 w/ Ttracer rounds, and my uncle was teaching me how to shoot a 57 revolver. I know what you're going through. Being in retail isn't fun and its why I got out of it. Just remember to breathe and also don't let those nasty customers get to you.

I'm not sure if you've seen the movie "Waterboy" but I always wondered if the technique they used would work. For someone thats really discouraging, imagine them to be something else that is less discouraging. In the movie, they imagined a discouraging person to be a puppy or a baby and it worked. For every word that the customer says, maybe you can imagine him/her saying "duh". Would make the day more interesting... and it would really make them wonder why you're laughing at them. :)

I'm going to try that wolf! That would be pretty funny...bla bla mwa mwa...duhhh... thats great. Today i had an eight year old throw a dollar at me ( her parent was standing besider her not saying a word about her behavior) and she said GIVE ME QUARTERS NOW...and i said well your a fiesty lil thing aren't you, can you say please. Her reply was...NOW....i said guess what my drawer wont open for impatient children such as yourself so she runs over to the service desk, throws the same fit...and the parent doesn't even notice it, i can't believe IT lol. so i'm taking your advice, and just breathing......and smiling...

Lets just say that its not worth getting riled up over these people. When you get your blood pressure up, it effects your health and life. You then start dreaming about it and you think about it on your off time. But don't you just want to smack them sometimes? *laughs*

Thing is, the parents DO know about it. Thats the way the little angel of an 8 year old treats her parents too and the parents didn't do anything about it. Partially I think its because parents are afraid to discipline their children since they would be turned in for child abuse. But geez! Something needs to happen!

I just think it's scary to see these children act the way they do, thats who is gonna be in charge of ME when I"M OLD lol....and then all these drop out highschoolers, with their babes...it freaks me out a bit....i did see a mom spank her child one time, because she was throwing a hissy fit, and i almost handed her the stick i had in my hand, i accidently said well done, and clapped. oops....HEHE....
i have a few days off from work, i'm sure i'll be ok after i get to calm a bit. talk to ya later wolf....thank you for your encouragement to keep calm, i do think of what you say when im in those situations...
