Tornados....AHHHH!

Last night Jeremy and I and a couple of our friends went out to eat at a local restaurant. It is in a park over looking a lake. The lake is very pretty scenery. As we finished our meals and the waitress brought the tickets our good friend matt said lets go now, before the electricity goes out. We had been watching the clouds move from the west, grow very dark and very nasty, the trees were beginning to bend. We scampered up to go pay for our meals, as we left the front doors; the lights kicked off right behind us…what are the odds in that? We hopped in the truck and road back to town where matt lives, he had a basement and that’s where we wanted to be. Driving down the highway we noticed the color of the sky, it was a sea green, not a good sign at all. The wind blew like mad, and lightning lit up the sky, and the little guy on the radio kept repeating attention Tornado warnings for (the county we live in). We made it safe and sound to matt’s house. However, I was not satisfied, my dog was alone at the house and I knew she was just going NUTS. So I wanted to go home very badly. I waited for the wind to die down before I told Jeremy I couldn’t take being away from her another second. On the way home we had almost reached my house when we almost smacked in to a tree lying across the road. That will wake you up. When I got home all was calm outside and the storm had passed with out a tornado! THANK YOU GYPSY CURSE!!!!!!!

And my puppy was eagerly waiting my return, I let her sleep with me last night, and she snuggled deep down in my arms most of the night which is odd….she normally kicks me OUT! LOL……

This morning after we finally got power which was lost for eight hours, I looked out the window, and noticed how green the grass is getting. This made me very happy! I’m sick of winter….so it was worth the storm, to get the grass that green!
By the way my biggest fear is a tornado. i haven't been in one yet, and im not looking forward to it.
