This wont make much sense to non Pennsic people.
Life is a freakish whirlwind of late. I can almost see my summer disappearing before me!!
I registered for Pennsic last week. Fuck yeah. My best friend Sarah can't make it this year, so I'll have to rely on Ro to drag me around. The event seemed less intimidating with two friends - - but this year it will be a big empty tent! I still have to figure out some better footwear for the swamp. Im guessing if I can score some non-descript water shoes I can protect my feet from rocks as then sink into the mud.
Looking forward to having appropriate garb this year. Being used to a coastal climate and events therein leaves room for synthetics...not so much in PA. Linen and cotton are pretty much the only tolerable thing in 90% humidity.
Definitely doing golf cart patrol again. That rocked my shit.
Camping with debatable lands - - which seems a bit boring, but I'd have to pull some strings to get a spot in the local barony camp. Might be a lack of desire to camp with pointies in general. *shrug* I guess it doesnt matter so much where I pass out at night, as long as I have somewhere to pass out.
