I was reading in the news today about a growing trend for people to have "until death do us part" replaced in their vows with things like "For as long as our love shall last," "For as long as our marriage shall serve the greatest good," and "Until our time together is over."

How sad is that?! Our generation has grown up with so much divorce that many don't believe a marriage will actually last. Why even get married if you think it won't last anyway? It's just sad...
