I've been reading
I've been reading some Spirited Away fanfics and I've seen a couple of strange things in them. A lot mention that Chihiro rides a school bus. One problem I have with those fanfics is that there ARE no school buses in Japan (they have buses and trains, but not a SCHOOL bus). I was just reading another fanfic and Chihiro said "Thank god tomorrow is Easter break." ...The only way she would get that holiday off is if she went to a Catholic school because I don't think that japanese schools have any sort of leeway for religious holidays. At least I don't think they do, I could be wrong. ...I don't mean to be over critical about this, it's just that it doesn't really fit with the story setting...you know? I tend to get very picky with these things. Perhaps it's the perfectionist in me. (I have read a fantastic Spirited Away story on fanfiction by the author Velf, actually she's doing a trilogy sort of thing.)
On another note; I know my story needs another update. ...I don't know when I 'll get to it. I hope to get to it soon but I don't want to rush myself in such a way that updates become a chore...takes out all the fun in writing. I've got it started and I've got a pretty good idea what to write about...so I'll update once it's written and betaed.
