“Miles.” Claire giggles as her boyfriend trails kisses down her neck.
“Mm?” He grunts, hands cupping her perfect soft hips.
“We’re gonna miss the ceremony,” after all the moving, the need for a regular high school graduation is too important for Claire to blow off--even if Miles’ hands have a way of turning her blood to steam.
“Five more minutes” he begs, when he catches her ear in his teeth.
She’s prepared to agree when a subtle cough interrupts and she’d know that sound anywhere.
“Dad?” she turns to the side of the building, where Bennet raises an eyebrow.
And Miles blushes, embarrassed. “Um...”
“You’d better make it three.” Her father reprimands.
And then he’s gone. Claire, too shocked about the appearance of her father after almost a year to really enjoy the three minutes she and the quickly recovering Miles have left, thinks that was probably the plan all along. The idea makes her smile against her boyfriend’s lips, not bothering her as much as it should.
