Okay. After almost 3 months, here are photos from Pre U Sem 08. I was in SG24, which we then conveniently names ourselves bombers since i think we were damn chummy with that bomber game.
This is the hostel that we slept in, hmmm. A little infested with ants which Suzy and i try to get rid off every night.
The first day of ice breakers, we played so many games. Too many to remember by names, but they were some good fun (: Oh, the SLOs tried to introduce some complicated game which we all couldnt do it at all. Totally, and it was a funny sight because all of us were pretty desperate in getting it right at first. But then we moved on, we seriously couldnt do it HAHAHA.
We had amazing race (around ntu omg) and it was called Digital Chase for a reason. Everything's in barcodes and electronified. Even sudoku's on the laptop, whaddaya think. Met with some drizzle here and there, deviated from our route from time to time.
This, is the only time we all gathered throughout the camp. The speakers were so jittery, Sanjay looked too hilarious when he's freaking out. The only speaking is the man Bec's supposed to protect because she would need to cover him if his toe breaks or something. Yay, the familiar feeling rocks the socks.
Then it was a day by the beach, trying to mould our ideal Global City. Everyone's pretty much clueless because we only had a 3hour prep course on sancastle building so we just took whatever nature offered (ie tree trunks and coconuts) and started constructing our airports and landmarks. Are we coolios or what.
The more professionally done castles are made by the mj volunteers who sweated it out for 3 days prior to our actual sandcastle building day. Tough task, well done.
We caught Sepet and the lady in red below's the woman behind it all :D
Time past too fast and it is already the last day. What more to do, other than to snap the day light out of the photos. The one in orange's Petrina (one of our SLOs) and we usually locate her by listening to her voice.
Because the nights of camps are usually not for sleeping, we had to resort to napping before/during/after brekkie and we sleep anywhere, anytime. Check that out, boys and girls alike. And its on a daily basis.
Pre U Sem 08, definitely worthed the time and commitment on the presentations, in exchange for the wonderful people and picture perfect fun.
