Update!

I know I missed on the update. Wednesday just didn't work for me. The ideas weren't flowing the way they should. I had some but none of them took the story in the right place, they just spun their wheels on jokes that didn't go anywhere. That and I was engrossed in Hogfather and still am. I intend to get a comic up for tomorrow as well but that may not get up until later in the day.

I had intended to post a bunch of criticisms on my dnd game that wasn't going well but since I like positive things I'm going to tell you why I like my GM for my D20 modern game and why I like my GM for my PDQ game.

1. They're both put a huge emphasis on fun. If a player doesn't exactly know the rules for what they want to do they give suggestions on how to make it work.
2. If things weren't going well I know I could approach them with my concerns.
3. They encourage characters/players who aren't as involved. For example there is one character/player in the PDQ game who is quite quiet. The DMs have thrown plot hooks to the player to encourage them to participate more and it's worked well.
4. They encourage and reward teamwork. These two GMs send challenges that everyone can enjoy and more often than not require the players to work together to solve the problems.
5. They're cheerful and helpful. Unsure of a rule or RP concept? Ask away and they'll do their best to answer you as it applies to the game you're playing.
6. They both run open games. Everything gets asked in main chat so there's no guesswork or assumptions to see that you're being treated fairly.

That's all I can think of at the moment but it makes for an enjoyable game! :D
