2. I will give you a letter.
3. Think of 5 fictional characters whose name starts with that letter and post their names and your comments on these characters in your LJ.
It's not as easy as you might think.
1) Spock from Star Trek. Honestly, I couldn't leave him out could I? The pointy-eared Vulcan who constantly argues with Dr. McCoy and is generally pretty damn cool. (In a related topic, Leonard Nimoy was on Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me, the weekly NPR news quiz, this morning.)
2)Sylvester the Cat who pursued Tweety Bird and had that great lisp. And every time he was beaten by Tweety, didn't their owner beat him, as well? Poor Sylvester. Never gets a break.
3)Scooter the gopher on The Muppet Show. His eyes are attached to his glasses, so if you took them off he'd have no eyes at all. And his uncle is the owner of the Muppet Theater, which gives him a lot of sway over the ever-suffering Kermit.
4)Scorpius, the ultimate bad guy on Farscape. Though he really wasn't the ultimate, he was just incredibly single-minded and would do everything to get what he wanted, namely, the wormhole knowledge lodged deep in John Crichton's brain. He pursued the crew for seasons, until he came to be part of it. And even then, he didn't let up! Crazy, he was. And very dangerous and scary.
5) Sailor Moon...She-Ra...Starbuck...Sarah, Plain and Tall...It has to be a female to balance out all the men on this list. Okay, all of them! Sailor Moon: never watched. I wasn't into anime. She-Ra: Princess of Power, He-Man's sister, she never wore enough to fight evil, in the tradition of female cartoon characters from all time. Starbuck: Don't watch Battlestar Galactica. (Don't hurt me!) Sarah, Plain and Tall: never read this, either, but didn't Glenn Close star in a Hallmark movie they made of it?
Woo! I cheated a little, but there you have it. :)
