why is life so unfair???
even in the cyber one!!!

i'm not that kind of an active LJ user. i'm rarely have the chance to online in pc. most of the time i'm just online from my mobile phone (and since it cost too much, i just looking around in my friend's page for a while). and that's why i'm not much seen in anywhere except for little comments/posts ( Read more... )

And I agree with both of the above - I don't get flocking a fic after it's been released publicly, that makes no sense to me at all, lol. I have one fic flocked because I'm not ready to go public with it yet, but when I am, I will unlock it and leave it that way. I have no intention of kicking people off my flist because oh boo hoo they don't kiss my ass and talk to me enough wahhh! LOL! Whatever. I'm not that special, I don't mind. ^_^ Life is good. I'm living it.

I feel your pain cellogic, there were a few fics I had been silently reading that were suddenly flocked and I was all "well it was good but not that good" and I had to just give them up; I don't let anyone force me to add as a friend. That's just ridiculous! Just because I like one thing they wrote doesn't mean I want everything they write clogging up my flist. I'm choosy who I add or don't.

I hope you will gain the confidence to post some of your fics and in the meantime, I hope you you don't let the flist stuff get to you too much.

One thing you can try if you read a one shot and you know you'll want to re-read it later, is copy it, paste it in a text editor (notepad, word pad, ms word, open office whatever) and then save it as a text file, then you can read it anytime you want, even if they flock it or delete their journal later. I've done it with a few of my fave authors' stories.

One who had deleted her journal and then miraculously came back. I spazzed that the story of hers I loved most was back online and that shit is so saved now! :D

Anyway, that's my 2 cents worth. Take care. ^_^

wow, i can't agree more
everything you wrote, it was exactly whats on my mind!!

i actually do that!
when in internet cafes, the cost is counted by the duration so i have no choice other than copying them into notepad (moreover to those who will flocked it within 72 hours) while thinking "when i'm done reading all of them, i'll back here and commenting"
but yeah, i just thinking of it, not doing it. none of them finished read by me! (now i wondering what exactly i'm doing here if there're any fics i read?) *smacked my head*

thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts and your advice~ :))

Well, if some ridiculous person f-locks their fic after 72 hours then they don't deserve your comments, lol, so don't fret too much over not commenting on saved fics that get flocked before you can comment.

I'm not sure why other people write, but I write because it's enjoyable and I write what I want to read - I share it online just in case someone else wants to enjoy reading it but I don't count on that - if they do yay awesome, but if my stories don't appeal to some people, they know how to browse on to something else they do like - I rather haters just move on than share their negative crap on my journal. ^_^ I do not specifically request feedback for that very reason.

Silent readers (raises hand proudly :D ) are okay by me, lol. Of course, I do also like being told if someone liked my story - sure who doesn't? but I don't need it to continue writing. I write because writing makes me feel good. ^_^

I only leave comments on other authors' stories if the story excited me (some spazzing must be shared, lol). Stories I only like, not love, I just read silently - most authors want gushing "omg I loved it!" comments so I won't "insult" (RME) them with my mild "well that was just alright for me" >.<. I have received such mild comments on my own fics and they still make me grin and think to myself "wow cool beans - they read it and took time to say so - woot! Good enough.". :D actually, I think I got a comment once that said simply "read it - nice" , I was content with this, lol. ^_^

Hope you'll write/post your fic and give others the opportunity to enjoy it with you - you just never know until you try, how many people might enjoy your imagination. \o/ ^_^

hey, are you sure you don't have any magical powers or something? because i'm sure you read my mind and put it down here!! LOL

actually i loves do comment. but yeah, you know why i rarely leave comment..
i just like to share my thoughts about everything, to everyone, everytime! *actually i'm such a talkative person that you might get annoyed to* ^^

wow, now i really felt the urge to post my fic! thanks to you~ i'll try to translate it first :)

Quite sure I'm not magic, lol! Ever funny! :D

Also, I don't get annoyed easily and rarely just because someone is chatty. Depends on content, too, though. I mean if it's all complaints and talking behind other people's backs then yeah I start avoiding people like that - chances are if they are talking behind other people's back that means they talk behind mine as well and so, no thanks. Complainers bug me too, especially if that's all I ever hear from them - never anything nice or good or positive to say; I'd just as soon NOT be the ear they vent into.

So you're bilingual or multi-lingual? Wow. I only know one language, this one, lol. So then in what language did you originally write your fic? Just curious. ^_^

urf, talking behind someone's back... definitely not to my liking. maybe i complaining about someone's behavior, but i never mention their name. eh? is it the same? cause i think that's different. LOL

i write all my fics in indonesian. noo, i won't say i'm bilingual--or even multilingual--until i can speak english perfectly. my english is terrible :(
but i try to start writing in english. so far, i just can write a summary/prologue without dictionary's help ^^;

heey, my friend once told me about sichul fic that he likes very much and, surprise, you're the author of that fic! XD
see you in one of your journal! :))
hehee

Oh I didn't mean it's never allowed for a friend to complain or express upset if someone treats them wrong but just there are some people who only talk about such things and nothing else, lol. Can't handle spending time with that kind of person.

You can write well enough in English to be understood and you can read and understand written English, as well, so I consider that you are bilingual. >.<

I know only one phrase in Indonesian which my friend rrongrrong taught me and I will say it now ...

Terima kasih for telling me that a BOY o_o likes one of my Sichul fics! Woot! \o/ Way cool! Please tell your friend hello from me and terima kasih to him also. ^_^ I thought it's mostly if not all female fans and readers in Super Junior fandom. It's always special to me if anyone likes my fics but seems to me boys usually enjoy a different kind of writing than girls do, that's why I'm so pleasantly surprised to find out about your friend. ^_^

Take care! ^_^ TTYL

Real life is more important than reading fics online, lol. It's cool you're doing such a positive thing in life. ^_^

Very sorry to hear about your friend being bullied into leaving his journal - bullying makes me mad. I'm signed up to a page on Facebook called Wipeout Homophobia On Facebook and another page called I'm Not Gay But I Don't Care If You Are and both pages often share other pages about anti-bullying and anti-hate. I have two things I want your bullied friend to know ... "LOVE IS LOUDER" and "IT GETS BETTER". If you search those phrases on youtube you will understand better what I mean. ^_-

I don't expect you to read everything I wrote and I don't expect you to like everything of mine that you do read but I am hoping you will enjoy something on my journal. ^_^

Success to you in your internship program! \o/ Take care!
