whew!!
Grad school is so busy!! My program is expecting us to not only learn but do! I have to do 40 hours of teaching in a school over the semester. Add that to regular school and my part-time job I am one busy girl! I am realizing that my professors expect me to know a lot of the stuff already, and so its more getting work experince than learning about environmental ed. I feel like it is such a good program, and I am so happy that I chose to come here.
My birthday was a good day. It was the first time in a week that we had sun, which was nice!! and, mitch had a day off from work so we were able to lay around and not be worried about work. he got me some books and a movie, which was nice and he even tried to scare me!! He got down on one knee to give them to me, but I knew he wasn't asking. He doesn't have the money right now to get a ring so I wasn't THAT worried. It is open season, so who knows when he will ask. We call it open season because I told him he couldn't ask me to marry him until we had been dating for a year, and its been a year so open season. I think its a funny thing. He did say that he hasn't stepped foot into a jewlery store, but he would call my dad to ask him for his permission before he asks me, which i think is adorable!!
the weather is so nice here. its a little chilly, mid-40's but it has been sunny. I think its funny that there has been snow in the lower 48 and nothing here yet. I don't expect any snow until halloween time. Mitch and I are going to Minnesota next weekend for a family wedding. It will be nice for us to see family, I am a little jealous because we get to see his family and not mine. Oh well!! I am not too upset, I can't wait to see his sister-in-law, the reception should be a blast with her!
The Moose count is around 9, Mitch saw two more this morning, in the middle of town!! Crazy!!
