update of my life
well, my life has been busy the past couple of months. i really enjoy my job for a couple of reasons, i am getting some awesome arm muscles from chainsawing, i love having 6 days off every 8 days and i am learning that this isn't what i want to do with my life. its a fun job, i am getting to see places i would probably never visit but it isn't what i want to be doing in 5-10 years. the boys are alright, sometimes i wonder what they use their brains for!! and i do have to say, i will make one hell of a wife after this, because i can put up with guys bullshit and throw it right back at them!!
my personal life is going great! i have some good friends living in los alamos, which makes going there tons of fun! dan mcpherson lives there with his girlfriend so i love going to visit them. out of all teh people i thought i woudl be friends with in post-lawrence, dan was on the bottom of the list. but its been a great time hanging out with them. one of the girls they hang out with is a kappa!!! she went to carnegie mellon, so we had fun singing drunken kappa songs in the bar one night (reminded me of my 21st bday!!!!) and dans girlfriend is SO COOL!!! she and i have so much hanging out, and its great knowing another cool girl. we both have lots of guy friends but not many girl friends, so its cool having her there. and i met a guy that i actully enjoy hanging out with!! he is a friend of dans, we have been chilling together for a couple of weeks. i wouldn't call him my boyfriend, seeing that we see eachother once a week, sometimes a couple of days if i am in town on my time off. but i think it is good, keeps me from getting too attached or serious with him. he is a great guy, funnier than anyone i know and just a relaxed person to hang out. seeing that i haven't dated anyone since oj and i broke up 10 months ago, i think this is a good time to start seeing one, but keeping it chill.
the job is done mid-july and i am not sure what to do with myself after that. i am thinking about moving back to phoenix, getting a job and start getting involved with music again. i also need to think about what i am good at, even if it is something as silly as being super good with directions (which has impressed the guys to no end) but really find a job that i can work with what i love to do. so i think takign sometime to really think about that would be good for me. i wouldn't live with my parents, but it would be nice to be back here. keep in touch, let me know where life takes you!!
