*sigh
Only a few more days till I am no longer a Seymour resident... I move up all the rest of my stuff (clothes, Elle, etc.) on Friday, and then Saturday is my dad's birthday and orientation at night... and then I come "home" to my apartment and sleep there for the first time ever and thus marks the beginning of my official living-in-the-apartment. I won't be home after that until (at least) the beginning of October... I'm sure I will want to come home but I'm not allowing myself to... I need to get settled and accept the fact that that's where I am and whatnot. I think THEN, will finally come that time where the whole graduation-moving-out-going-to-college thing hits me. Took me long enough, I guess.
So the apartment issues with my roommate are kinda settled for now... until next time, anyway.
Thursday I'm getting out of work early to go to Hartford with Dave to see "Gershwin Alone"... it sounds like a really cool show! We get to go for free becuase I guess now Dave's got "connections" with the guy who plays Gershwin. :) We're going up so Dave can have a mentoring/lesson type of thing beforehand, and then we're staying for the show afterwards... I guess originally it was just supposed to be Dave going up, but, too bad, Dave's mom won't let him drive to Hartford (new lisence) :) so I have to drive, and hey, I guess I'll need a ticket for the show, too. :)
And in case any of you are wondering, "Isn't she supposed to be at work?"... yes, I am at work. :) I truly have nothing to do and my boss doesn't care that I don't have anything to do... so, hey, why not update my LJ? :)
