Whew, I'm back from a long and tiring weekend. I had my audition at CIM yesterday. I think it went quite well. Now all I have to do is pray that the professors thought I played well. I'm gonna be a nervous wreck for the next couple of months until I find out whether or not I'm accepted. Moving on, well not really....but anyway, the next month is gonna be really hectic for me music-wise. In two days I have my audition for the side-by-side concerto competition. I'll have to "retain some anger" until that night, for I will be playing the Shostakovich Concerto. Some of you know what I mean by that. Also in a couple of weeks I'll be soloing with my high school orchestra. The excitement is growing. Also during the next month I'll be traveling to IU to perform at a couple of masterclasses. Finally, on March 5(or 6, I forget exactly...I should probably go look that up) is my audition at IU. So during all that, my mind's still gonna be focusing on whether or not I've been accepted to CIM cuz that's where I really wanna go. I've gotta find some way to suppress those thoughts. Oh well.
